Screen blue light is much weaker than sunlight. No evidence it causes permanent damage, but it can cause eye strain, fatigue, and sleep disruption.

If you spend more than 4–6 hours daily on screens, blue light glasses can be helpful for reducing visual fatigue, especially if you experience symptoms like dry eyes, headaches, or blurred vision. They are not mandatory, but often useful as part of an overall eye comfort routine.

Modern low-tint lenses have minimal color shift (like a slight warm filter). Clear lenses with minor blue blocking are also available. Avoid old-style dark yellow lenses.
